Meet Gunay

Gunay works on a freelance basis as a Security Officer and lives in Enfield, with his wife Dilek and teenage son and daughter, Akcay and Shanice. They are of Cypriot Turkish origin.

Gunay says if he doesn’t control what he eats then he seriously puts on weight, although he’s the first to admit he just “loves eating food”.  
Gunay is desperate to get rid of his ‘moobs’, ‘love handles’ and ‘big belly’. He’s also ashamed that his daughter and wife call him ‘chubby’ and ‘telly tubby’. Gunay doesn’t do any exercise although everyone in his family owns a bike. His son is a regular gym goer, but Gunay never goes with him.

Gunay lives on a diet of fried food which he loves with his main problem being portion size and snacking. He often has seconds for dinner and eats other people’s leftovers. When he lived by the coast he used to eat fish and chips virtually every day.
